My Alarm Clock App Reviews

The app recently has stopped working, it is causing my macbook pro retina 15” (2014) to freeze while it’s running at night. When I checked my computer this morning, it wasn’t frozen, but it was behaving sluggishly. Upon opening activity monitor the app was using 53.6GB.. yes GB, of Memory… Looks like there is a memory leak that’s been introduced, or caused by an OS X update, I’m running the latest version of OS X and this is unacceptable for a paid app, hoping the developers can get this fixed quickly as I have relied on this as my alarm in the morning for some time now, and when it works it’s great. Once this is fixed I will update my review.

Living on a farm one hour before sunrise is the time to get up but their is no fature that allows you to set an alarm fofr an hour before sunrise. It would be helpfful and for regular people on weekends who want to get out to do some fishing would be really nice too That way you can set te alarm for an hour and a half befoer and get to the lake just before sunrise to enjoy the sunrise and the entire day.

Needs to be smaller. I would give it four or five stars if the screen with all the options weren’t ever present, the four icons on the right, with all that dead space below. And an option where the clock sits in the menu bar and is made a bit bigger when clicked. Seems like there’s a lot in terms of design and user efficiency that could be done with this app that’s not being done.

See Title ;) I kid, but yes thats basically the idea. It has not-too-terrible default sounds and the appearance isn’t ugly. So it does its job.

I use it almost every day that I need to be up early for work and it does the job. The only thing that is annoying is a small bug that causes already set alarms to switch to the same time if you reset an alarm rather than create a new one. This causes you to have to delete alarms and create new ones when you want to change your wake up time. It’s not a big deal and to be clear I bought 2 others and this is the one I use. My favorite feature is being able to select a song or playlist from itunes to play as my alarm. You get your money’s worth I feel :)

This is much better than the free version, it has music to wake by. I love it. It is so easy to use and I m trying it out for the first time. It looks as though I will love it and the extra features it comes with the music. weather, the sleep times and the clock. A must for those who need something to wake up by, besides a phone or clock/radio. This is one product I should have bought previous to a few others that I have bought. Thank you for an excellent piece of workmanship.

Typical game the app developers play!! You buy the app, and youre constantly HOUNDED to upgrade! Hope this practice doesnt spread to the appliance industry!! You buy a TV in a big red dot stays in the middle of the screen until you upgrade! Or, you buy a radio and it ‘hesss’s nonstop until you upgrade! I’ll ‘UP-GRADE’ if I want to…til then… LEAVE ME ALONE! Lol… OK…. YOU HOUNDED ME FOR THE ‘RATING TOO… SO HERE IT IS! lol

This version CRASHES EVERY TIME I OPEN IT….used to like it but now can’t even use it at all

I want to wake to a specific track and go to sleep to a specific track. Too much to ask? Apparently for this app - it is. $3 wasted...

This is the most useful alarm app Ive come across yet! Its the only one that is quick and easy to use yet be non-intrusive!

Its okay, but not quite what I was expecting. Too bad there wasnt a trial before purchase option. The app would be much better with: • a menubar option • additional timers with options • more skins to choose from • banner notifications

Plenty of options

This is the best alarm clock i’ve found on the app store. I use it everyday, and it never fails me. It also has different backrounds, different sounds, or you can wake up to your favorite music/song.

App works okay most of the time. I’ve had to “force quit” it a couple times. I am using the app on an iMac runing El Cpitan. Most of the skins are plain and uninteresting, and the alarm sounds are limited. The thing i really don’t like is that you cannot set an alarm over a week in advance. I find My Alarm Clock way overpriced, & I would not buy it again.

Simple and works.

Randomly, every alarm I set changed to a different time. Every time I would try to reset it, it would once again change to a different time. Every time I set a new alarm, it would change again. I tried everything but it just stopped working. It’s a shame cause it’s designed nice, I liked falling asleep to the clock on full screen. But it’s coded badly apparently.

This app does not do what you would expect. I can’t pick a song or songs from my library. I end up having to over write the default sound in the app. Another thing that I don’t like is the app did not go off when the time changed. Also, the alarm clock will sometimes change to random time after I stop it or open it. Otherwise, the app gets the job done.

Where the heck is the off button? How come I can’t adjust how long it snoozes? Why can’t I dim the display? If you love asking these questions, this app isn’t for you. But if all you want is an easy way to (a) know what time it is, and (b) be sure when the alarm will go off, and (c) turn or snooze the darn thing off, this simply works. For $3? No brainer.

It asks for a review every time it is turned on. Absent that, I would say it is good. With it — awful
